In 2024, See You Later designed and executed the lighting for Ye’s Haikou listening events in China, two performances that unfolded as intimate yet monumental explorations of his new sound.

The shows were shaped by restrained palettes, stark contrasts, and bold cues that shifted in lockstep with the music—light and shadow functioning as narrative devices within the performance.

Working alongside creative direction from Niklas Bildstein Zaar of Sub Global and Aus Taylor, the result was an atmospheric environment where minimalism carried weight and grandeur, turning the venue into a space defined by Ye’s vision.
