See You Later Projects

For Sabrina Carpenter’s 2023 MTV VMA performance, See You Later led the creative direction, crafting a timeless yet innovative vision inspired by a 1920s aesthetic. The performance unfolded like a vintage film, seamlessly blending classic elegance with a modern edge.

The creative concept began with Sabrina’s first song, “Feather,” performed in striking black and white, evoking the glamour of old Hollywood. With a single snap, the performance transformed into vivid, full color, transitioning into the second song and symbolizing a bold shift into a contemporary, vibrant world. This dramatic visual transition captured both the nostalgia of the past and the excitement of the present.

In 2024, See You Later partnered with Sabrina Carpenter to design the lighting for her Short n’ Sweet Tour, a production that unfolded inside a retro-styled penthouse built for the stage.

The lighting was crafted as an extension of the set—moving from warm, intimate tones that framed close moments to bold, saturated washes that expanded the space into a full arena environment. Each song carried its own look: playful color bursts for pop anthems, restrained palettes for ballads, and sharp transitions that amplified the theatrical flow of the show.

The lighting created a world that felt both personal and cinematic—an environment that matched Sabrina’s energy while giving the tour its distinct visual identity.

For Sabrina Carpenter’s opening performances on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in South America, See You Later created the visual identity of the set through custom content and lighting programming.

The design leaned into playful, high-gloss pop language—bright palettes, bold motion, and sharp cues that mirrored Sabrina’s energy—while scaling to stadium dimensions. The result was a world within a world: a distinct visual chapter that stood on its own while seamlessly folding into the scope of the Eras Tour.

See You Later led the full creative production for Sabrina Carpenter’s Emails I Can’t Send Tour, shaping stage design, show direction, lighting, and custom visuals across more than 80 shows worldwide.

The design translated the confessional spirit of the album into a theatrical, pop-infused environment. A glowing LED heart, mirrored portals, and glitter-lined scenic elements gave the stage a cinematic presence, while playful vignettes—balcony reveals, rotating doors, intimate lighting cues—kept the performances personal and dynamic.

Together, the staging, content, and direction created a touring production that felt both intimate and expansive: a visual language rooted in the honesty of Sabrina’s songwriting. au
